The Crystal Palace Garden Bouquet

The notion of forcing bulbs–that is, starting a flower bulb indoors during the winter to trick it into thinking spring has sprung so that it will bloom–is a bit of gardening magic that still amazes me. And forcing amaryllis bulbs, whose blooming flowers resemble trumpets and can grow to the size of volleyballs, is especially enchanting.

Our version, the Crystal Palace Garden Bouquet, subtracts the seasonal element from forcing blooms and simply offers giant amaryllis flowers all the time. The gorgeous white blossoms are actually made by artists out of silk, with such fine detail and hand-crafting that the petals, stems, and stamens look like the real thing.
