The restaurant at our hotel in Sumatra perched on a covered patio so diners could gaze at the sunset while eating. Several tables featured these lightweight but strong Kubu host chairs, with flared arms and short wings on the sides. They were just what we needed–cushioned comfort–after a day of running around the city. Kubu grows abundantly and wilds in the area, and its woven into baskets and furniture and weathers to white or beige.
Our Binjai Host Chair includes a removable muslin cushion, and it would be fantastic in a sunroom, covered porch, or other protected spot that gazes outside. It coordinates with our Binjai Arm Chair and Dining Chair.
