Piovere Glass Vase

Our classic, urn-shaped Piovere Glass Vase is imported from Italy and made from Murano glass. Crafted in a stunning multi-hued light blue palette, it makes a beautiful centerpiece, either by itself or full of long-stemmed flowers. Created with a traditional millefiori technique, it is a decorative piece that you will treasure for a lifetime.

The history and artisanship of Murano glass is as much a part of Italian culture as is the Vatican, albeit having a quieter presence. This well-evolved art form has continued to mature through the centuries; its artists have kept the designs contemporary to the day and continue to find new ways to express their passion to delight the buyer. Our link with this storied artisanal style is through a 3rd generation Murano Glass maker who has a small workshop near Venice. He crafts small batch items of no more than 5 to 7 pieces, and sometimes in as limited quantities as a single piece on request. Our Murano Glass Collection is the real thing.
