I was never a morning person until I took up jogging. In the South, in the summer, the only tolerable time to be outside is at the very beginning and at the tail end of the day. I came to prefer mornings, as a jog revved up my body and brain for work, and soon I found other reasons to relish these early starts. A neighbor two streets over grows morning glories, and there are many days I get to see the sun prod them open. I wanted to share this idea of the sun awakening beauty, and the Morning Glory Stool was born.
Rainbow shapes dance across its body, and cutouts let the sun beam through. It’s a joyous spot to sit on the patio with a morning cup of coffee, the sun just starting to peer over the horizon.
