The Bellingrath Garden Bouquet

Springtime in the U.S. South comes early–at least a month before it drifts northward–and one of the first harbingers of the new season are hyacinths. They grow from bulbs, with leaves emerging first and then oblong clusters of purple flowers so fragrant, you might want to bottle it.

Our Bellingrath Garden Bouquet may not have the intoxicating scent of real hyacinths, but it certainly has the look down. Several spikes of the blue-purple flowers and their linear leaves poke out from a glass cylindrical vase, each one the product of fine artists who have cut, painted, and shaped each petal out of silk by hand. The flowers will never fade or wilt, so you can have a bit of spring on your table all year round.
